For several hundred years there has been inn business in Staffanstorp. The "Stanstorpa kru" inn, which was south of Malmövägen, became an inn in 1873. In 1880, the owner, Nils Nilsson, built a new inn to the north of the road, and inn business has been carried out since then at the current location, where the shuttle station was also built next to it.

With us, you can still feel the beat of history. In one of our beautiful halls, you will find old, well-preserved "paintings" in the form of food still lifes. The yard paintings are from 1905, when a wandering vagabond got tired of drifting around and painting the big farmers' yards. For compensation in the form of food and lodging, he provided the primed white walls with large gold medallions that were decorated with wine glasses, water, a dead hare, a gutted pheasant and grapes, apples and pears and more.

On a board in the entrance you can see that a trip to Dalby cost 1:70. Then 20 öre was added for a draft horse and 30 öre for two. Outside the entrance, the old links remain where the horse was chained while the owner perhaps had a sup with pork and bread.
